Long-awaited second release on Japanese-based Nakayoshi Use Only from label owner Ken Wood aka K.W. Following the success of last years massive 'Welcome to the club' he now turns his re-edit magic on two more classic tracks. 'Walking In The City' is a superb rework of the seminal 1978 French cosmic disco release 'Running in the city' by Space, which K.W has stripped down, slowed down and grooved out for today's more discerning dancefloor Flip then for a superb slab of soul in the shape of of Marlene Shaw's 'Woman of the Ghetto' , previously sampled by St Germain for 'Rose Rouge' on the Tourist album, this time given some subtle update love but losing none of the impact of the amazing original Two very different tracks that make one excellent record!
