b/w "Stand Up Pt.2" / With Stand Up, Lee Fields and Sugarman & Co. lay yet another brick in the towering wall of soulful funk that they have been building in the Daptone universe. As Lee employs his infamous moans and wails to coax the nation to it's feet, Sugarman and his friends weave a harrowing nastiness over a twisting bassline and a pair of galloping conga drums. Part two gives the DJ's a break before departing into the outermost psychedelic reachesof the Daptone sound.
