Drei Jahre ist es bereits her, dass die kalifornische Popband The Neighbourhood mit ihrer sensationellen Doppelplatin-Hitsingle »Sweater Weather« (Platz vierzehn) und dem Debütalbum »I Love You« (Platz 25) in den US Billboard Charts für Furore sorgte. Nun veröffentlicht die Band um Sänger Jesse Rutherford das Follow-Up-Album »Wiped Out!«, das u.a. die Single »R.I.P. 2 My Youth« enthält. Das atmosphärische Schwarz-Weiß-Video zu dem hymnischen Alternative-Rockbrett wurde von Regie-Legende Hype Williams (Nas, Kanye West etc.) inszeniert.
