Limited Edition Red 7" Vinyl! Octopus is the first single from Bloc Party's new album 'Four'. Bloc Party will release their new album 'Four' on August 20th. The album was recorded and mixed in New York, produced by Alex Newport (Death Cab For Cutie, The Mars Volta, At The Drive In) and will mark the bands first full-length since 2008's acclaimed 'Intimacy'. The band played sold out shows at The Garage in Glasgow, The Ritz in Manchester and Koko in London last month, of which all sold out within minutes! The band have also announced a full UK tour in October of which several dates have sold out. 'Octopus' premiered on Radio 1 with Zane Lowe on 10th July proceeded by 7 further plays on radio 1 that week followed by additions on XFM daytime playlist, BBC 6 Music B-List, Q Radio C-List, Juice FM (Brighton) Single Of The Week alongside XFM Record Of The Week's for both Clint Boon and Steve Harris. All within the single's first week at radio!
